Last Friday Night, New Order played Blue Monday to the 60,000 crowd on the West Kowloon harbour front which is the annual festival Clockenflap. This year we were grace by ASAP Rocky's energetic performance debuting his first live performance in Hong Kong, with printed ASAP Yams purple dollars, Rocky made it "rain" in an responsive cheerful crowd. Over at the main stage, we have the Earth, Wind and Fire experience plugging all the classic, these old timers are still shaking their hips and blowing the crowd away with their musicianship. On Friday, we had Red's House Painters' Mark Kozelek's Sun Kil Moon, Mark perform a beautifully haunting rendition of Moon River over the harbour to start off the festival.
At Blackalicious, crew member Jumbo celebrated his birthday with a happy birthday sing-a-long and proposed to his girlfriend in front of an eager crowd, Congratulation! There are just so many of these moments in Clockenflap, big thanks to the organiser for the wonderful experience, see you all next year.
